About Me
Hi! I’m Wendy Qiu. I’m currently a master student in Learning Analytics at Teachers College, Columbia University, where my coursework in quantitative economics, probability theory, Python programming, and information systems has provided me with rigorous analytical frameworks and technical fluency. Prior to this, I graduated with a Bachelor of Management from ZJSU—which laid a strong foundation in e-commerce Operation, financial reporting and corporate strategy.
I’ve worked with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions in various industries. At NetEase, I consolidated monthly supplier transaction data, automated AP document workflows, and wrote reports that improved settlement cycles and cost control. As an FOF Research Assistant at Shenwan Hongyuan, I used regression and decision-tree models to forecast market trends and analyze fund-manager allocations. At ABC Better Society Consulting, I co-designed a platform to unify business and financial data for a nonprofit. Most recently, on TikTok’s BPC team, I maintained e-commerce dashboards, assessed market-opportunity data, and supported large promotional and live-stream campaigns.
Based on my past experiences, I intend to leverage my learning-analytics expertise—user‐segmentation, predictive modeling, A/B testing, and dashboard research—to optimize real‐world business operations. By integrating behavior‐driven insights into product roadmaps and performance metrics, I aim to help organizations personalize customer experiences, streamline workflows, and measure ROI more effectively.
Outside of academics and works, I’m passionate about piano performance and photography—I’ve performed in campus recitals and enjoy capturing urban life through my lens. I’m driven by curiosity, committed to continuous learning, and excited to apply my interdisciplinary background to meaningful data analytics challenges.
